Welcome to, Øistua, our summerhouse at the bevøya Island...
Bevøya is a Private Island with only a few summer houses owned by the decendants of Mr. Øistein Guderud, who bought the Island 100 years ago. It is a unique experience to wake up to ALL NATURE - no cars, no noise... only birds singing and maybe the sound of some waves from the Oslofjord.
Take a fresh morning bath, and walk back for a cup of tea/coffee on your veranda overlooking the BEAUTIFUL Oslofjord (see photo above). Relax with a good book in the sun (it's lots of sun and fresh air at Bevøya), or explore the island by foot... This island has a lot to offer... unspoilt nature and a history that go back long before the times of the Vikings...
You might try kayaking, or waterskiing if you like to... Bevøya is a fantastic place for fishing too... We like to light up the BBQ for a good steak, or maybe your own fish from the sea... Meals that we are sure that you will remember long after your return to Oslo...
You will be accompanied by Berge, Elena & Nor (5 years). We have room for you in our car that takes us from Oslo/Asker to the nice town of Son, from where we use our boat to get to Bevøya island. The car will take 50 min., and the boat 10 min...
Welcome to, Norigar'n, our mountain lodge at the norefjell mountain...
Norefjell mountains was host to the Olympic Games in 1952, and is a full srevice skiing resort. Only 100 km from Oslo, it is a very polular for skiing for the peolpe of Oslo. Norefjell HAS IT ALL, and is often used by people from Denmark, Sweden and many other nationalities.
Wake up to a beautiful sunrise, coloring the white clean snow with a touch of yellow... After a nice healthy breakfast, you can choose cross country skiing (se photo below) or one of the many ski slopes for slalom and down hill... You can rent skis, and buy lunch in restaurants/hotels close to the ski slopes... You can also rent a place for spa and outdoor pool...
You can try playing in the snow... Other times of the year you might try Norefjell Golf, or a swim in the mountain river for the though ones... We usually serve food that we feel blends inn with the mountain, such as reindeer, trout, blueberry and cloudberries. We round off the evening in front of the fire, and a trip outside to watch the starry nigth...
